I still have not made the commitment of a new bag. I've shopped so many hours. I've found several great possibilities but ruled them out due to things such as heavy weight, high cost, too "showy", etc. I bought a RATE vintage bag that is okay but it is just a bit too RATE really and I think it's also a big big.
I've decided that my desired budget is around $100 - $200 (as opposed to the nearly $400 Brahmin or D&B bags I looked at before).
So this brings me to fewer choices if I want leather, which I do and if I want brown, which I really do as well.
This Tignanello bag fits all my main criteria. Not "too" deep. If I could find one that is slightly wider and less deep it would be better - but I can't find one with my other criteria, including: Crossbody. Brown. Leather. Simple in style. No big logos or big shiny emblem closures, 1 or 2 Outside pockets, one slip, one zip in this case. Inside pockets .Light weight. No chain straps.
But is this style a good classic style or is it just boring?
EDIT: found one more contender that I may like even more as it is slightly wider and has 2 ext. pockets. The color is closer to the blonde/reddish highlights in my hair but it's not a very dark purse for fall/winter. Hmm.
And which color is better? Either would work for my wardrobe.
