Does anyone have a pair of these? Or have you perchance tried it on?

If yes, could you tell me about the comfort level, fit and how they're been wearing?

I can't find them in a B&M store near me, but I've been eyeing them for ages. They'd be quite pricey for me to get online (still considering), so I wanted to do a 'due diligence' check on behalf of my fussy feet.

Some things I wondered:
-- Is the leather *very* stiff, especially the curve at the back of the ankle, and does it sit high over the heel? (I often end up skinned over there)
-- Is the shoe fairly narrow (I have wide feet and was wondering if I ought to size up half a size, especially for wearing with socks, in case what I end up with is standard/medium width --- may not have options of wide etc.)?
-- What's the footbed like --- any cushioning?
Anything else it might help to know...?

I'm looking at the burgundy/wine version. In case you've seen it in person, maybe you could comment on the colour --- is it more red-brown than 'wine' and does it seem to have a variegated rather than flat colour are a couple of things I wondered...
