My beloved suede boots that just died (after 5+ years of hard use) were the most comfortable boots I have ever had. They were Clark's.
I had to get non-slip shoes for work. I found a pair of slip on Clark's. After my first training shift, which was pretty much 8 hours of standing....My feet were OK. I mean, they were swollen and I wanted to slip my shoes off, but my feet didn't hurt. That's unheard of for me.
I ordered a pair of boots to try from the Clark's website. I have a hard time finding boot shafts that fit my calves, but these were on such a discount with free shipping and returns that I decided to try them. They fit really well, and have that comfortable Clark's sole. They must have been one of the last pair because I don't see them on the website anymore at all. They do have a lot of sale styles available, including a two for $99 deal and a two for $149 deal.
I think Clark's will be the first place I look for shoes from now on!
