Dropping in for a moment. My eye doctor recommended flax seed oil/fish oil supplements for my ocular rosacea. I eat a lot of fish, take fish oil supplements and eat ground flax seeds (or take flax seed oil). I don't see or feel a difference in my skin or my eyes. In winter, I still get very dry. But it's also not getting worse (and I'm not currently taking prescription medication to treat rosacea, so maybe it does help?) Other people tell me my skin looks good, I usually see only what's not perfect (hehee, this happens all the time).
But don't let this discourage anybody from trying fish oil. I've met people who swear by it, like Happylife. It doesn't hurt to try.
Nicole and Inge, I also stick to pump bottles or tubes as much as possible. I can't believe that so many expensive and antioxidant rich night creams are still sold in jars. This kind of packaging can reduce their effectiveness, not talking about contamination.
