Clams?

I's probably a little early, but as I'm trying to put together a summer wardrobe before the end of Feb, I'm wondering where you have bought your favorite clams? I know that Boden had some great ones last year, but it looks like it's just longer capris this year.

What are your favorite clams?

My only pair is the white cropped Matchsticks from JCrew. Clams aren't my best look, but I still have them just in case I find a way to like them this year.
I know some people found them at Boden, and some are Levis.

I actually bought 2 pairs of capris (denim and white) at Ann Taylor Loft last Spring (pre YLF). After getting the YLF take on capris, I was going to get rid of them. Instead, I had them hemmed, and they are now great clamdiggers! I wore them constantly last summer and into fall!

I can't refer you to stores per se, but I can also recommend getting existing capris hemmed. Another helpful approach was to buy capris in petites. Since I'm about 5-8, that usually put them at the ideal clam length for me.

Joy, I love my dark denim clams from J Crew (Matchstix) and white ones from AT. However I've had them for awhile. If I couldn't find clams, I'd get skinnies or narrow capris and cut them off. Clams are so comfortable and slenderizing compared to walking shorts and are modest but cool for hot weather.

I have ON denim clams and white J Crew matchsticks. The ON ones are so-so but I love the J crew ones! Some people have found them to bag out alot but this was not the case for me.

I don't think that there are any nice ones available at the moment, but you could always get some nice skinny jeans and have them hemmed.
