Hi ladies, I've admired the idea of the Kate Spade City Lights skirt for almost a year but never acted on it because the skirt had already sold out before I knew it existed. I recently found a used one in my size and am wondering whether my desire to pounce is because it's a Charmian-skirt or something more akin to "sale goggles" (maybe "sold-out goggles")?

My biggest fear is that the print comes off like an expensive version of those kitschy "I ♥ New York" t-shirts. To me, the print reads like "abstract white dots" (I didn't even realize it's supposed to be the NY skyline), but I can't tell anymore -- these stupid goggles just won't get out of my way.

Please help me decide:
* YAY - looks like a graphic print. Fun, but not too girly-girl/precious.
* NAY - sorry, the print is too precious/sweet/kitschy for your style goals.

( ETA about me: minimalist modern classic who loves clean -- almost architectural -- lines and geometric prints )
