I saw this in black in a local boutique and decided to research the brand. Well, the black is on sale at Nastygal but there is also a citron! I am kind of love with it. Citron is so hard to find! Want to drool with me?

*drool*! Enable enable! Looks less bright than citron though .. More like chartreuse I think. But I prefer this more than the sour citron which kind of clashes and stands out against our skin tone. Would you get to wear this in Alaska at all?

That's an awesome sleeveless coat thingie! I can totally imagine both it and the whole look working with your style. The color would brighten the long Alaska winter.

Deborah, it also comes in black! And that is on sale at the same site. Just be aware it has raw edges and it also feels like a heavy chamois or flannel.

Neel, I do wear sour citron depending on how tan I am. I prefer it although you are probably right that chartreuse is better.

Ok, I would like this, and the grey sweater (completely forgetting I never wear turtlenecks and look like crap in them) and the leggings and the boots and the aviators and the long legs, and......YES PLEASE. Someone needs to buy this vestish thing.

OK, that is a cool garment (I can't wear citron without looking ghastly, and that pocket placement would be tricky, but that's just me...). However, does it bother anyone else that they couldn't hide those shoulder pads any better on the citron version? I only see it on that one -- the grey one appeals to me more in color and in style. In fact, I'd be really tempted to try the grey one, even though I struggle to style vests when it comes to real life.

Janet, I saw the black version IRL and the shoulder pads are stupid - however they are only attached by two threads and I would be snipping them right out. You would look fantastic in this! There's a grey version?!

Una, I've only worn it once because it's still in the 70's here for the most part. I really have to get back into taking outfit photos.
The one I bought is really suited to cold weather - the citron one looks like it could be lighter and possibly more of an indoor garment, whereas I intend to use mine as outerwear, late fall/warmer winter days. So this may not be the slightest bit helpful. Anyway, we had a cold day a couple weeks back, and I wore it with jeans and a heather grey wool blazer and grey Pikolinos booties. The blazer underneath kind of gave it a look of a coat with different sleeves than body, because both are wool and grey tones, which was kind of cool. I also want to wear with skinny ponte black pants, grey turtleneck tunic or burgundy tunic and tall boots. Maybe try a wide black leather belt over it. There was an Angie pick sweater (in photo) that has leather on the sleeves - I'll be wearing it with that. Honestly, I'm so excited about this item that I can't wear yet.
I can see the citron really working with your wardrobe.
