I posted yesterday asking for help deciding on an outfit for Christmas Eve.

I ended up wearing #2 - brand new never worn cream BR jeans with a cream satin blouse, gold metallic sweater and gold suede cross hatch pumps. Then I ended up wearing Kahlua all down the front of both legs of my jeans and the left shoe! Somehow I bumped my glass on the dining room table and - bam! It was a small drink with a large footprint!
We went right home so the pants could go in the wash and I wiped the shoes down with a damp cloth. They had been treated with waterproofing spray so maybe that helped. All is now well as near as I can tell. The texture of the suede shoe feels a bit different but isn't apparent to the eye.

The one upside to this is that I had a backup outfit ready to go - the black dress - and ended up wearing it too!
