Hi, NJW! So glad you're coming around to the bag. Sorry for posting late but I wanted to unearth this Anya Hindmarsh quote for you: "Always buy a bag that you will love beyond one season and that makes you do a little jig of joy when you carry it". It was part of her 10 rules of style in Elle magazine a few years back....the jig of joy is my 'litmus test'...enjoy your bag!

Thanks Lynne-I almost took the tags off today and used it while in Chicago but then decided just to be safe I will await the NAS in a few weeks. I don't think I will find anything else but need to be 100% sure. I think it will not be a case of me looking aimlessly but rather does anything else measure up to the M. Jacobs satchel. Will keep you posted. I love the the quote from Elle. My frame of mind is where Lousie's is; unless I love it and its flattering in size/color/shape, etc I will not cave, even if its an amazing price. I have too many of those mistakes in my closet; i.e. sort of the right color, could be flattering (ha ha...either it is or it isn't) but such a deal....I am sure many of you have had the same thoughts

NJW-I certainly have those mistakes in my closet, something is a fabulous price but the style (or color) just doesn't work for me. Yet I buy it anyway sort of hoping it'll grow on me, then it ends up taking up space and eventually getting passed on to others.
