i'm so pumped, just ordered this crazy RL chevron dress (last one in stock and saved $100 plus free shipping via coupon code woooo!!!)

i researched (obsessively) on chevron vs. body type, proportion, etc...and in the end, decided that this hit my happy fab nerve more than the safer tahari diagonal navy dress (which i also loved). i have a hunch tahari might be more slimming, but the RL is so FUN! we'll see...thinking of shortening the sleeves to just above the elbow (direct more attn to waistline/balance crazy pattern with some skin) plus hem it up an inch (suitable for my 5'4" frame and end at thinner part of my knee/leg).

so excited, i LOVE frocks that are low maintenance, high impact (either color/print), body type flattering and most of all, boost her happiness/confidence...oh, and a great deal (hehe).

ps: learned about the history of stripes/chevron from art history, quite fascinating and enlightening. i love how some prints can be classic and modern/fun (via color/style combos) so you can look/feel fab over a longer period of time (very time efficient & budget friendly too!)
