Checking In Again- Hello from an old member

Hi everyone,

I'm checking into the forum after a long long absence of nearly 3 years. I used to be an active member of the forum, and as life changed after I moved to the UAE a couple of years ago, I never got around to checking back on the forum and posting.

So after moving back home to Ireland last year and eventually finding some free time, I'm reading the forum again and really eager to join the YLF conversations again.

In a brief update, my life over the last 3 years has been hectic. I broke up with my college boyfriend, met the love of my life 1 month after that, moved to the UAE for a year, got engaged, moved back to Ireland, moved into a teeny tiny apartment with my fiance, put on weight, was diagnosed with diabetes, lost weight, grew out my pixie and started running. Lots of craziness over a short period of time.

Unfortunately there's no room in our romantic garret for bikes, so they're staying in my parents until we can afford somewhere bigger.

My hair is shoulder length now, but I'm going to get it cut into a choppy bob when I get back from my travels in mid-August.

Hi Inge, I just noticed your message.

My diabetes is pretty manageable at the moment as I just need to control my diet, but I probably will be starting on some medication for it in the next year.

I'll post some proper WIW posts once I get my wardrobe clearout done, I promise!
