Well, they certainly have enough photos of the pants/skirt! I think it's interesting and has potential depending on who wore it and how it's styled. I would probably look goofy but you would probably look cool.
I kind of love these. I see they were designed by Sonjia Williams, a Project Runway finalist. I really liked her stuff on the show. I could see myself cruising around in these.
I LOVE them. But not on me. The pant side seems more fitted than I am comfortable with, due to my plus size. Actually, I would try them on in person, but I am way too hard to fit to buy them without trying them on. I want them. What have you started?! I smiled the minute I saw them. But if everyone had them, then I probably wouldn't still want them. I wonder what happens if I have something long over them? Obviously, they would lose something, but would enough be left? I am shocked that I love these so much.
Oh yeah, I saw these the other day and actually like them quite a bit. Probably not practical enough for me, but they look fun to play with.
I haven't bought anything from Betabrand yet because I don't like how they bombard my FB account with ads. But, their stuff looks like perfect travel clothing. You've had good experiences with their products, Una?
I think they're artistic looking and very fab wonderful! They totally look like something you would wear! The skirt proportion may need some adjustment or it may look like a butt apron.
I think you're the perfect customer for these Una -- they could be styled in a hip gear way, or in a edgy way. For myself, I wish they were culottes with a crossover front -- like a really long skort, if you know what I mean!
I like them too. And really pleased they come in petite! Plus I appreciated how they were shown styled from dressy to casual to professional. I don't know if they would work for me as a look, though. I do find offbeat things like this really tempting. The price isn't bad either.
I'm plus size, but could see these become workhorses for me, in a way that culottes with crossover front couldn't be. Depends a lot on length, and how they'd look with boots.
My misgivings are around the fabric quality and finishing construction.
I just love the "loving hands at home" thing (which I had never heard before YLF).
I don't quite know what to say about this skirt .. er, yoga outfit .. er .. bull-fighting costume .. er, modern dance getup .. er, comment-provoking office wear. But go ahead, Una, try them!!!! And then, if you are inspired to move passionately in the middle of the day, you're good to go!
Yes...I see what minimalist is saying and that would be a complete deal breaker for me.
And, Viva, you crack me up. I sort of get the same feeling from them. If I saw someone in them I might be worried that her apron was going to fall off and expose her leggings-as-pants. But I have low tolerance for athleisure, apparently, even when I want to wear it!!
They look very gear-y to me (in a yoga/dance kind of way). Nothing wrong with that but it's a little jarring in the more dressy outfits. i think it's bc to me the pants bit looks like leggings so it therefore breaks the "no visible crotch in leggings" rule (which the butt vest notably did not).
