Chanel sandals

Prefer the camellia sandals rather than the chain ones. More iconic tho understand the logo-less appeal for the chains. What about the black pair with the toe ring and a black camellia to the side?

Ps the crystal heels are still fab to my eye!

I like them. I would prefer them if they had a 1.5" heel though. So I went over to Chanel.com and looked over their entire collection of 2016 sandals and didn't see very much with a 1.5 " heel (except for clogs, lots of those). So I think these are a good choice, if you're ok with a true flat. It's hard to find a good match with a bag, I know -- I'm still looking for the right bag to match my Acne Jensens which I purchased last August. And believe me, I am looking.

I was looking for a flat sandal to wear with maxi dresses. So I wanted it with no heel for that purpose

I love the elegant look of these and think they fit your foot beautifully, but in the end you have to be happy I do think they'll look great with maxi dress. Do you think DH would prefer the floral T straps, or does he just not like flats? I often find that my DH's eye adjusts after I wear something for a while.

I agree with rachylou about the chain detail -- my husband doesn't get it either -- definitely a girl thing. Also Aliona's observation that men's eyes sometimes need to adjust. The first time I brought home a chain strap purse my husband was like, "What's with the chain?" After a while he got used to it. Anyway, I really like the chain detail sandals and I love your handbag!

Shoes and bag are divine! I'm a big Chanel fan. I'd wear them anyway as you love them and I don't think we need anyone's approval to wear what we love.

I just looked at your previous post where you tried on two different Chanel flats, the t-strap with the flowers and the strappy chain. I much prefer the fit and look of the t- strap. The strappy chain shoe fit looks off. In the photo it looks like your heel sits too far back, does it? Is it comfortable for walking? It makes your foot look clunky in comparison to the floral t-strap. This could be a photo issue? I will be the naysayer in the group and side with your DH in saying I think you can do better.

Kelz, these look great from the photos. Sometimes I know things look different IRL. Is your husband able to pinpoint why he doesn't like them? Is it a style thing (which looks great to my eyes) or something about how they sit on your feet? The latter might be easier for him to see IRL than for us through the pictures.

Staysfit - I think it's just the picture bc in real life it fits perfect and is flattering on the foot. I ended up going for classic Chanel as it matches more things and will get more wear out of them where as the flower t strap can look too busy with some of my patterned maxi dresses and it will look too overwhelming. And they are very comfortable! I have. 4 month old so comfort is very important right now
