Challenge:help me emulate the lace, midi skirt look greenglove wore!

I have a lace top that would work
need a skirt
have a vegan black moto jacket that would work ( but longer)
would like to wear the chie mihara laced shoes ( on order) Angie posted about today wth the ensemble.
I am an apple, my weight is centred in lower abdomen. 5 ft 6 inches tall.
My lace shirt is sheer and longer than greenglove's if that helps.
I am a brunette with long hair.
I also had this crazy idea of trying to pair the aldo cross body bad ( cream with black dots) that is in Angie's shop with the outfit.

I promose to try any suggestion that strikes my eye and if we have a winner you will
get a small token from me!!

My back is still pretty tight so I will be home all day tomorrow as well ready to look for your suggestions!!

Hm. since your lace top and jacket are longer, I would consider a shorter or slimmer skirt to help balance the proportions. Where do these items hit? Hip? Leg break? First round draft picks:

Maybe your longer lace shirt would be best with flowy pants rather than a skirt. You would still be inspired by Jean's outfit, just adapting it to your style. Another idea...tuck the shirt into a skirt and add a belt the color of the shirt. What color is your lace shirt?

Adorable outfit, isn't it? I viewed it with great interest too and what struck me is that GG has slender legs that look beautiful in this midi length. That length on my very different legs is not successful. So that's my contribution. Check Angie's posts on wearing midis and then experiment until you find your sweet spot for hem length.
I loved the way you made Mary K's Chanel look your own and can't wait to see your version of "lace, midi and boots". Have fun!

Oooohhhhhh...we're gonna be shoe twins Sona - I ordered those pumps too! And I bought the Aldo body bag last week! You'll have to let me know what you think of the shoes when you receive them.

I have long legs. te lace blouse is cream and hits above the hip bone. moto jacket ends at waist.

TS: shoe and bag twins. Squeee!

Hmm, this is slightly different, but if your top is cream and the bag is black and cream polka dots, what about a red sparkly skirt? I love the combo of black, white/cream and red!

Rae: I love the jjill skirt you linked to. My back is better but still not quite there- I will try this on at my local jjill in the next few days.

GP: the overstock skirts are unlined. And the red is a little too shiny for me.
