Challenge Wardrobe Cull -> Makeup

My goal is to cull my wardrobe category by category. I decided to attack makeup, perfumes, and other beauty products this morning. I went through the entire bathroom and every single tote/purse.

I tossed everything that was old. Everything that no longer suited me for whatever reason was also tossed. I was ruthless!!!! So proud and yes I do feel GREAT.

Hooray! Good going Sterling! What’s next for you? Cosmetics were also the first thing I tackled. Somehow successfully clearing out the bathroom cabinets provides motivation to move to the rest of the project.

YAY for you Sterling....i should have started with makeup, as its the one thing i don't collect...i buy only what i use and only buy a replacement when i'm about 1/2 thru the open one....

I think I edit makeup fairly regularly but given I just finished a closet edit and let go of 64 items where I also thought I edited regularly - I’d better go check!

WhT a great idea. I need to do this, and I think it will be a great warm up for the closet edit. As I don’t wear makeup that often and never throw it away(except mascara) I was shamed by the SA who sold me an eyeshadow pLette a few weeks ago. The one I brought in (only 3/4 used)has been discontinued for over a decade. I definitely have some things to toss.

I did mine a month ago - I have realised that I am very fussy with lipsticks and should not buy random colours because I only really wear three shades.
