Eek! My underwear and bras are good - I am very basic with these basics, but my workout wear could use a serious pruning!

Such an honour Angie...... I wish I had a Royal Court or Servants to do some Washing, folding or ironing!!

Sal, they tell me that's what kids are for, but as a mere laundry peasant, doing just a few loads a week, I don't know anything about that.

I did socks in November when it got cold. I’m doing undies now. Pjs are good. Thermals are good.

really.... your going to make me go thru the accumulated "stuff" i call lounge wear? LOL....i'm reluctantly in....

Mine is DONE! And as you said, it didn't take too long. I think I did mine in 45 minutes. Instead of using dividers, I wound up shifting what I put in each drawer. My socks are now happily existing in a drawer all their own where there will be no intermingling with bras and underwear!

I'm in! I think I need to do the Marie Kondo thing and pull everything out, re-sort and rearrange the drawers - I have been folding the way she does for a year or so now and love being able to see everything. My bras just don't fit in the drawer with socks and underwear and get in the way. I do need new bras and underwear too, they are embarrassingly grungy but I am super picky (and cheap) and have a hard time finding replacements. My workout gear is pretty complete but I have some items that don't get worn any more that I should just get rid of. Same with sleep wear.

I'm in. Just replenished "knickers" and Heat Techs (which I wear every day from October through April or May.) Next up: socks.

I'm good on sleepwear, tights, bras, camisoles, and shapewear.

WOW. You lot are going like a Boeing. I'm impressed.

*happy dance*

Laura, I like your creative solution.

kkards, it's time and I'm your cheerleader. You did SO well last October. Onward!

Sal, *sending Royal servants*

Robin F, maybe we can help you with your undies search? (Start a separate thread).

mtnsofthemoon, are you sure we can't meet up in Seattle?

I'm in. My basics drawers are in pretty good shape but could use a tidying and perhaps a small edit.

Angie.....How do you have your bras folded? I have lay mine out full length with the bands tucked under to avoid crushing the cups and stack like colours on top of each other. Your way looks like a better use of space.

Marilyn, I don't know! My bras fold really well like that, and hold their shape. There is lots of space - the cups aren't squashed. Maybe that's key?

Marilyn, I watched the last two episodes of Marie Kondo last night on Netflix. One of them, (I think the next to last or one before that), addressed bras and underwear, showing how to fold and store two types of bras, also undies and socks. That may be helpful.

Joy.....Thanks! I've only watched the first episode so far. I'll check it out!

Just a quick observation about my success in finally finding my perfect bra which was inspired by your Wardrobe Basic Blog post. It made me remember that one of my HEW's is a tee shirt bra. We drove over 100 miles to attend a symphony concert yesterday, in a town with a Nordstroms. Between lunch and the concert, I had time to actually shop in a b/m Nordies and found this bra which I think is perfect. I probably wouldn't have done this without your inspiration to "work on your basics."

YAY, bonnie. What a win. Finding a comfy bra is not to be underestimated. Enjoy.

I've done a cull and sort of my essentials, and feel covered (no pun intended) for now. I bought 3 new bras and a handful of panties, and new pajamas and a robe a few weeks ago. I don't wear thermals or camis, and have weeded out my socks and hosiery to fit nicely into some Ikea drawer organizers I picked up recently too. Yes, I've been on a spending binge. It is lovely to see my underwear sorted and folded nicely, instead of crammed willy-nilly into a drawer. Not sure why I didn't do this years ago

WOOHOOO, Lisa p. You are going like a Boeing. WELL DONE.

I'm working on it. It's going to be a pretty massive edit.

Great job Angie, this is just you. You are always very good organised. Bravo.

Marilyn, it looks to me like one cup is inside out, to nestle inside the other.

Columbine, keep up the momentum.

Mirjana, you're a sweetheart.
