As mentioned in Angie's initial Challenge thread, my closet edit is in response to a house move.

I had over the summer weeded out two bin bags of clothes to the charity shop, and sorted my handbags into keep/charity/bin, and a box of shoes to be binned plus a bag of summer dresses and some handbags to be passed on to my sister & niece.

Rather embarrassingly, I after sorting through the various stored & wardrobe locations now have 7.5 bin bags of clothes to send to recycling (we've a clothes recycling bin locally)!! Although that amount does contain some of OH's/Child's clothes, probably 6.5 bags are my clothes. A lot of them are too big or simply worn out, while some were items that just didn't work/fit my lifestyle (button-up office shirts that I didn't wear even when I worked in an office/sequined batwing top in neon orange! Just, what were you thinking, previous shopping self?).
There are more edits I can do, but since all the other items need washing & trying on before I decide on their fate, the edit probably won't be finished till Christmas or later.

I have kept some of the too big trousers/jeans, to offer once they're washed to a friend that size. We discuss wardrobes/our limited budgets for refreshing the wardrobe fairly often and since the items are in good condition I'd rather they go where they'll be used than in the recycling.

I'm quite pleased by what I've done so far, although given the amount of stuff in the house left to pack, clearing out these bags of clothes seems like a drop in the ocean!
