I am starting to think about packing for a 10-day trip to Germany in early-to-mid June - 3 days of conference attendance (business casual) plus a couple of talks at universities, and the rest will be sightseeing. I plan to move around a lot taking trains from city to city so need to pack lightly. Would jeans be too hot for this time of year? It looks like the average temps are slightly above 70F (20 C) high, around 50F (10C) low.
I am thinking of skinny jeans/khakis with "Caspian" sneakers for sightseeing, black cigarette pants and a VC midi skirt with black pointy flats for the conference. I also got the Debora-recommended JJill black dress http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....avel-dress that I will bring in case I want to change into something slightly more dressy in the evening.
Does that sound about right? Still trying to figure out the outerwear but at least I have the lightweight silver raincoat I used for a trip to Italy so got the really bad weather covered.
Thanks in advance!
