The Cedar City Wedges I won on eay last week are here already. I love FedEx!!!!

And I love these shoes! They are by far the highest heels I have ever worn, but so far I can walk around the house and clomp around in them ok. The leather straps are so soft and gentle too.

The 9.5s *just* fit me. My heel is right on the back edge of the shoe, but my toes have a bit of room at the front to wiggle down as the straps loosen up with wear.

So far so good. I am going to a concert tonight (The Swell Season) that is literally 200m from my house, so I might even give them their first outing tonight!

Thanks katiepea! I've changed my mind about wearng them out tonight though. It's still so hot so I'm wearing my (shhh don't tell Angie) maxie dress and flat sandals instead. No birkies in sight though...my how things have changed!!!

Aww thanks taylor. My shoes are still 95% flats, but I now have a few heel options. No heeled boots though!

I think you will be very happy with that size. that is how I *wish* my size 10's fit me. Instead they go another 1/4 inch or so beyond that. Wearable but not optimal. Yours look wonderful - good buy!

Ahh queenie it was too dark to photograph the maxi dress last night, but here it is on me last year. Accessoried differently last night though! Maybe I'll reproduce shots tomorrow as its due to be hot again!

Don't worry jean I won't be cutting it short. I love having a long breezy dress for hot nights. It was extremely warm inside the concert hall so I'm glad I went with this option!

And Marianna I figure I don't have to worry about being taller than anyone if I put heels on now, so why not? If I don't wear them now at this stage in my life, I know I never will!!

Oh agrace thanks. I hope you still get wear out of yours....hopefully 1/4 inch doesn't make too much difference!!!

Theresa thanks for your kinda maxi dress comment. I know the drop-waist on this one isn't too flattering, but I do love the print and breezy cotton material. So many maxis are made from polyester which I think is just a waste of time! Having said that, I really like the look of your cut-off maxi too!
