Good morning all YLF family. As you may know, we are new cat owners and are in the 3d month of caring for our new kitties. They are doing well, but we have since discovered that one of the kitties (Nyx #1) has roundworm and both will have to take some Rx meds.
The issue is administering the pills. After crushing one pill for each and mixing it with their wet food, one ate with out hesitation, while the other did not (pretty much licked off the good stuff). We tried everything from mixing other types of foods from stews to gravies, etc. and she still wouldn't eat her meal. At this point, we are on the 3d day, and am afraid the the costly pill has gone down the drain. I'm hoping she licked some of the meds, but not sure. Any suggestions for over the counter meds?
