As I mentioned on Always Trying’s post https://youlookfab.com/welookf.....y-dressing I’ve been trying to wear my velvet and velour pieces in unfancy, everyday kinds of ways. Here are the first couple pix, plus some winter white that I wore with an overly matchy complement of bright blue accessories. What do you think?

1 never made it out of the house, because I wanted to hear your opinions of the flannel pajama top as daywear. I typically wear it as loungewear around the house, and enjoyed the velvet pants with it.

2-7 The green velour shirt is short-sleeved, but was fine on a nearly 50 degree day with a long-sleeved shirt over it. The close-up with messy hair was taken after I got home, when I realized the necklace doesn’t really show in the head-to-toe pic.

5-8 is a no-velvet day, but I was having fun with the blue & white theme with bits of red. The purse ties in because there is a bit of green in the sweater, and the strap has red & white. Its suede subs in for velvet. I considered the blue & white back pack, but that just seemed like too much of a good thing.
