Casual shoe - Thanks to Transcona Shannon

I was looking at the shoe linked by Shannon and saw this one. I think I could wear this with casual pants and jeans even for work. I noticed that my feet were cold this morning and commented on Angie's blog that I would need socks very soon.

What do you think? could these be good fall/winter shoes with casual pants or are they only suitable for jeans.

I think jeans....but it would depend a bit on your overall personal style, I think. Trying on might help you tell.

I'm a little punky, so I'd wear these with a dress on weekends too.

Hmmm . . . that is a hard one. Those "monster" bottom doc shoes seem even more casual that the traditional boots. Plus, unless you already have pants that are hemmed for 1" heels, pants you wear with flats will be short and pants for higher heels will be too long.

The girls I went to high school with wore these a lot, with jeans and dress slacks and I think it needs to work with your style to pull it off, otherwise it just looks like 90s suburbia.
