Casual seasonal outfits #2, featuring winter skirt sandwich style

Here is the second installment of December outfits made from a small monthly capsule
1/2 are my attempt at Angie’s winter skirt sandwich featuring black top (cashmere sweater left by DS1) and OBG black booties. The skirt is kind of bone with a circle design made with black stitching, but it looks grey from a distance.
3: I am experimenting with burgundy JJill Ponte pants, black sweater. The scarf is an OBG.
4/5: white (bone) EF pants and jacket with the red Snoopy tee you have seen before.
6-8: a very cold snowy day called for a very warm outfit. This reindeer is from Scotland. Detail shown in #6. The bag is from Guatemala. The sweater is worn with blue denim pull on jeans.
I look forward to your thoughts and comments. Are these too casual? I wore them for being at home and scooping snow at home.

You look great as always - I love your black and white outfits 1/2 ( very put together ). Burgundy pants work well with black with a help of fun accessories.
White pieces are always fab on you and the warm sweater in 6-8 is no exception - nice and cozy.
I feel that your outfits have a sense of completion - the colors and textures, accessories and shoe wear chosen with careful consideration.

Joy, I don't know how you do it but you always look fab and polished! Looking at the outfit with the burgundy trousers, may I suggest to try a grey jumper instead of a black? I think it would be less contrast than the black jumper and more harmonious. I may be wrong!!!!

Minaminu and lyn67, I will try grey and other lighter tops with the burgundy trousers. I had hoped the scarf would add some light to the outfit, maybe it needs some sparkle. Thank you for the suggestion.

Great looks, all of them. Only 4-5 reads slightly more casual than usual to me, which is probably the boots. Still fab especially for shoveling snow!

Thank you for your lovely comment, La Belle. Liesbeth and JAileen, the reindeer sweater is so well made and the perfect blue with jeans . The wool can be scratchy but not if it is really cold. I wear a long tee or turtleneck under it. Here I wore a navy tee and a cotton scarf around my neck. It is from Japan and white with images of Mt. Fugi.

The reindeer outfit is my KILLER fave! Fab cuffs on those jeans, and the white is lovely with your hair.

The way you tucked the pants into those boots in #4 is mega hip!

Thank you Sal. I may wear the red tee again today. My sister sent me a Christmas Peanuts cotton scarf that I want to try with the shirt. I am Team Dressy, so some of this seems very casual.

You look fab in your holiday capsule outfits! Such a cute bag in #3, and I, along with everyone else, adore that reindeer sweater. I know you went through a rough patch in the last year or so, having to rethink outfits because of medical issues. But you look as beautiful and chic as ever.

Thank you , Windchime, you are so gracious. The cute bag in #3 is from a consignment shop and says Zand Amsterdam on it. It is perfect for my needs with compartments that hold my glucose meter, my iPhone, a tube of glucose tablets and a mask .When I see the bag I think of Angie and her dear Papa.
