Hi all,

Some casual outfits to share.

Pic 1: I bought these AG crop flares late last year in the end of US season sales. They are coated for a leather look. It's only just become cool enough for me to wear them. Wearing them here with an H&M top.

Pic 2: The crop flares again with an M Missoni top (on sale@yoox). The top might be a little too short for the rise of the pants? If I were to put my hands up in the air, and wave them like I just don't care, there would definitely be some midriff action. But I did care, so I didn't. And I wore a cami just in case.

Pic 3: Inspired by Jenn: black, cognac and a little bit tribal. I have got rid of a lot of pale grey from my wardrobe because it's not a great colour for me (even though I like it). I spared this sweater because of the pattern and the cute fringe. Cotton too, which is hard to find.

Pic 4: Dog walking outfit. Not very exciting but a BIG step up for me after months of shorts and skorts. Dark floral scarf is from Portmans. They are my go to these days for floral. Of course I also wore a hat

And the pink has already faded from my hair. Sad

So fun to see you in autumn clothes! I really love that sweater in #3 and see why you saved it. The boots and clutch help warm up the outfit enough for you and bookend your hair. Gorgeous.

All so gorgeous! The light grey sweater has so much white in it, that it does not really read grey to me. I love the Portman's scarf, does this match one of your skirts? I love this touch of dark florals. It has been a cold and wet weekend here too.

You're so stylish when you walk Ms B. Just as you're out of shorts, we're going into them. I really like 1 and 2 also. Even though they're so dark, they have a lot of interest.

I don't think you need to worry about the length. As long as you're not a frequent waver, you should be ok.

#3 is my favourite. Killer to the Power of Killer. I'm glad you saved that grey top. You warmed up the grey just beautifully with the cognac and gold - perfect match and bookending with your hair.

All of these are great, Brooklyn. But I just love #3. Like Bijou said, it doesn't really read as gray. I love the proportions, the all neutral palette (with lots of warmth from the cognac), the lovely details in the sweater. Beautiful!

Awesome all around! I keep changing my mind when trying to pick a favorite.

I would not have thought to warm up the grey sweater with accessories as you did - smart!

Sorry to see the pink go. Was it fun while it lasted? I have this fantasy of going a light lavender once my hair turns grey.

They all look great here; I think you get away with the short top in 2 because it is tonal:)

I love the touches of cognac in 3, they really suit you.

I am also trying to move away from grey, but not 100 percent succeeding. It is a useful neutral to have and mix with denim and black in particular. I also love it with pink.

Ooh, I am surprised and pleased at the amount of love outfit no 3 is getting. Makes me feel good about keeping the sweater.

Thanks Sal, I love pale grey. Especially with white in summer. And it's a useful light neutral at other times of year too. But it does wash me out. I had way too much of it. I am trying to be more careful now.

Thanks cobaltblue. The pink was really fun. I think it's possible my hairdresser went light on the tint because she was not sure whether I would like it. I am going to speak to her about it. Lavender with grey would be lovely. I would love to do teal. But my hair is not light enough.

Thanks Bijou. The scarf does not match my skirt but it is quite similar to one of them. I have 4 floral skirts from Portmans now! I bought the first one about half way through last year, and it's the first thing I have bought from Portmans in years. Now I find myself wandering in there all the time to look at their floral collection. It is funny when something like that happens.

Shevia, thanks. My hair is behaving better at the moment because humidity is lower at this time of year. So I may be able to "let" it wave a bit more often

I can't pick a favorite. All beautiful.
I have had coated black jeans as well as a few other colors. They are great for cool/cold weather. I gently washed mine and the coating gradually wore off. They look ok without it but I miss the coating. Sometimes they say to dry clean but I don't know if that would affect the coating. My burgundy ones are Rich and Skinny and have held up the best. My black ones are Joes Skinnies. They say Do not Dry Clean but to hand wash, dry flat. ( I hang them in the laundry room to dry). They are not what they were but ok. I want to replace them because of their low rise.

Very cute outfits! I like all the juxtaposition in #3. Kudos on the dog walking outfit--I never looked that cute walking my dog (in the suburbs.) In fact, I was walking a couple of weeks ago in my neighborhood and tripped on a raised sidewalk and ripped my nice, wide legged cropped pants (pretty new.) Back to casual! (Although, I'm sure I'll never fall again just walking.)

#2 - I would care too (and I picture the purple alien from Home with his hands in the air like he just doesn't care ) and the cami underneath is a good idea. I need to remember that this summer as I have a couple tops that slightly too short.

I love your boots in #4. Somehow the mid-calf height makes the outfit feel a little bit tough.

All outfits look great! A touch I really like is how in pic 3 the lacing on the boots and the clutch match each other. Really pushes my buttons in a good way
