Casual dinner options - YouLookFab Forum

Most of the evenings on this cruise are casual, which I think means just about anything except shorts, which are not allowed at dinner.

1-2. The navy ruched Halogen top again, tucked and untucked, with new white J Crew jeans and sneakers that need to be washed. Would prefer a platform sneaker, but these are easier to pack.

3-4 White jeans with Liverpool LA blouse and sneakers.

5. White jeans with old Chico’s cold shoulder top and black wedge sandals.

6-7. Old Navy “love all” tee with new Colette Pants in Navy and white sneakers.

8-9. If I pack these Navy Colettes, I could also wear them with one of these options, except I’m not sure if a sweater will be too warm.

10. white jeans and Uniqlo tee with sneakers.

I need 5 casual dinner outfits, if there are 5 that you think would work. Thanks, everyone, for the help, including any and all suggestions for improvement!

Try the cardigan of #9 over the graphic tee in #6.

Just to clarify, #10 is not an option for the cruise. I’m not planning to bring the booties or the Skippers.

I mainly wanted to show the difference in length between the regular length skippers and the tall Colettes, since the length was discussed on a previous thread. I deleted the photo so it wouldn’t be confusing.

Fun options, and there isn't a bad one amongst them. My favorites are #5, 8 and 9.

I really like all of these, but I am surprising myself by especially liking #4! I love that snakeskin printed shirt and there is a definite casual chic thing happening :).

Fun planning for the special trip. I think you have lots of great options. As in the dressy dinner post, I feel here that the navy top in 1 is nice for either purpose but to me it’s rather staid for this festive setting. There is one I’d either leave home or bring it only as a “just in case”.

You really can't go wrong with any of these - not that I know much about cruise dressing standards. I think it comes down to packing ease and personal preference.

That Liverpool shirt is MAGIC with your hair. Definitely bring that! I also adore looks 5, 6, and 9, and think the cardigan could come in handy, regardless.

Agree with Jonesy and Suz about how great the Liverpool shirt is, and with Carla about the cold shoulder cut-out shirt. I prefer the first top untucked.

Being in Thailand currently, I have found I needed a light cardigan often for aircon, not sure if cruise dining rooms have it or not.

I like all of these, and I had the same idea as Angie, to wear the striped cardi over the graphic tee as well. You might find the cardi is welcome in A/C, if nowhere else. My favorites are 3-4, 5, 8. I think the striped top in 8 would go with the white jeans and white sneakers, too, yes?
