As I looked around the bedroom last night all I saw was the shoes I kicked off after shifts, racing to change for the next one. I have one more week of work and I plan on tossing ALL but my newer Asics running shoes and my studded suede high tops! Even the workhorse purple Dansko Veda's are getting the heave-ho. They got their use for sure with all these doubles this year. The canvas is starting to tear away from the rubber toe caps and my black Reeboks simply hurt my feet at this point. Had to keep them for banquet black and white wear, but did my last for the year last night. The demoted old running Asics are worn but were good enough for an alternate shoe to keep my feet from the same pair too often. Already tossed some older white Reebok walkers when the BF was packing up 2 weeks ago. All GONE in 6 days. Good riddance! Should I bartend again next year, I will treat myself to a lovely new pair
