Fun! Paris Hilton (looking old!), Lindsey Lohan and Naomi Watts made me grimace. There were things I wouldn't ever wear like the jump suits, but the ladies looked fashionable and interesting. There's quite a variety of fashions in your link.

I absolutely love Kate Blanchett's Alexander McQueen dress, with the Eagle on it. It's visually arresting, looks great on her and is a touching tribute to the dead designer.

My Cate in that black McQueen gown.......KILLER to the power of KILLER. I can't even wrap my head around how insanely spectacular she looks. But then in my world Cate Blanchette walks on water.

Juliette Binoche was my least favourite.

Now I need to lie down and breathe. Cate makes my heart stop.

Cate is amazing, as always. That dress...wow. Few people have the physical presence and elegance to pull that dress off. She is almost always one of my favorites.

It is interesting both the French ladies went with the jumpsuits, with quite different results. Although I generally just don't love them Cotillard's fits her really, really well and it has appeal. Binoche's looks like a bad 80's outfit.

Oh Lindsay.

Dress-loving Sarah looks like Kate Beckinsale, I just realized.

I love Evangelline Lilly. She can be both sexy and sophisticated. I wish the green & blue dress was without the fringe. Kate Beckinsdale too. I pity Lindsey & Paris. They seem so old for their age.

Cate Blanchett's dress is breathtaking. Naomi Watts looks awful in the first outfit and terrific in the second. Juliette Binoche and Lindsay Lohan look the worst IMO, but I'm not very fond of Elizabeth Banks's pinkish mullet dress too.

I'm not a fan of the jumpsuit outfits. Overall I disliked more than I liked the ensembles. Eva Longoria's I liked best.

Thanks for posting the second lot, Mac! Now that I can breathe again I have a few additional favourites:

But Cate in Picture #23 steals the show by about a thousand percent.

Oh my gosh. I normally am a casual observer of these things and never have very strong feelings, but that Alexander McQueen dress is absolutely breathtaking. It might be my favorite red carpet look ever.
