Cancellations - What from your NAS orders have been cancelled?

I ordered some underwear and my most coveted find of the sale - the Paul Green moto boots - a few hours after the sale opened to me on 6/12. The moto boots were cancelled by 10 p.m. on 6/12.

The other item that was cancelled was the Sam Edelman Pop Plaid Reefer coat. I ordered that on 7/13 and it was cancelled today. That coat I'm very sad about. I wanted to see it and feel it on the off chance it wasn't garish. But I love rainbows and bright colors, so there was a chance it would work for me. It's still showing up as in stock on their website in the size I ordered.

I'm stalking the moto boots. They are my clunky loving style.

Oh no that is very disappointing. Good luck stalking the boots. It seems odd that the coat is still on the site. Can you re-order?

Reorder it. I had that happen (not during NAS). I was unhappy and called. They said that their system routes it a direction due to stock when ordered. So, for example, if might have been routed to a store. Then that store doesn’t cover the order and it gets cancelled. In the meantime, the warehouse gets some in but your order doesn’t recognize that. Basically a system flaw. I reordered and all was good.

Yes, absolutely keep trying. This happened to me last year with a sports bra I think I had to reorder 3 or 4 times because it was canceled and canceled and canceled and...finally...success!

And I love it, just so ya know.

Those motos were my favorite boots in the sale - but I never saw them in stock. So sad for you.

Yes, I eventually ordered the red coat. In two sizes. And then they were cancelled. Also, the NAS Blondos were cancelled. My original order on 7/12/19 has mostly not shipped. I don’t have high hopes for anything shipping.

I reordered the coat yesterday and it shipped today! Now if I can only find those boots! I have seen the boots pop up for a few minutes at a time in a single size, but never my size.

AviaMariah, keep trying! I was able to snag the Something Navy Leopard cardigan and the olive version of the Vince on a pop back, so don't give up. Better yet -- they both shipped!

The Tibi dress is the item that keeps getting cancelled. My SA, who I shopped with the first day, says it's a terrible fit and wouldn't even let me try it on but I can't get it out of my head. Maybe Nordstrom is trying to tell me something, too.

I lost my mind on the first day and ordered a navy Barbour raincoat. And then it was cancelled. Checked back this morning, it had reappeared and I reordered it. Several hours later and we are still good!

It might work. It might not. But I do need a raincoat and the sale price is excellent for Barbour.

I was a lemming and ordered the EF black jeans which still show as ‘getting ready’ while another item from the same order has shipped. So I suspect they could end up cancelled.

Some stuff that I ordered that has been In Process for days is out of stock and other stuff is not and is not likely to be. Chantelle panties? C'mon! Men's pants that probably go on sale every NAS? But no cancellations thus far. . .Thus stuff I ordered quite recently that arrived within a couple of days came from stores and not their warehouse.

Dunno if Amazon Prime days added a monkey wrench to shipping. But I've never experienced such delays in even shipping labels not being prepared yet.

I received the coat today and it's so fun! Unfortunately it's also at least 2 sizes too big. I'm petite (5'2") and chances are I would need a petite size for this coat. I wanted to at least try it because I love the colors and I'm glad I did that. It seems nicely made. I'm still stalking the boots, but no luck yet.

I didn't order anything yet, but this cancelling bit is making me wonder if its worth bothering. Especially since I wouldn't need the things for 4 months!

This happened to me last year. Items sat in "getting ready" for several days, then were canceled. I took it to mean they were sourcing from other stores vs a central warehouse. It would also explain the delay if the store sold their last piece, and the system is now sourcing from other stores or waiting on returns.

It's part of the joy of ordering online when there's a huge sale. I also saw a note on another blog that many more people were taking advantage of the opportunity to buy online and pick up in person, which was causing confusion about inventory.

Gretchen, I think you are right. I had a cardigan that I bought in-store not show up in the package that I had sent home. I ordered another online as a pop-back and it's still "getting ready." This morning, my SA texted today to say she had located one herself, so I called customer service to try to cancel the online purchase. The rep said it was coming from a store and it would be best to call them directly.

All this is a long-winded way of saying that I agree that they must be sourcing many of these "getting ready" items from individual stores. If I had my heart set on something that was in my local store, I'd just go ahead and buy it and cancel (or return) the online one -- but it might take going that extra step and asking the rep where it's coming from.

I ordered the moto boots during the first day of early access (July 11th). I initially had two sizes in my cart, then removed one of them (sticker shock at cart total!), and now I’m kicking myself. I LOVE the boots, but they run somewhat larger than the other Paul Green shoes and boots I have. I have always worn a size UK4 in Paul Green (US 6.5), but these are larger. My heel slips when I wear them with “normal” socks, but they are perfect with wool socks. I’m asking myself if I really want to be able to only wear them with thick socks..

Anyway, I have also been stalking the boots to see if I can find a size 3.5 for comparison. I HAVE seen the the boots come back in stock (but not in the size I want). It’s always when I first check in the morning (6-6:30 AM ET) and within 10-15 minutes they are gone. I check perodically though the day as well, but have never see them come back in stock after the early AM.

My initial order still shows "Getting Ready", even though I canceled it with customer service yesterday morning. I ordered the items online and went to pick up this morning. Like kkards observed, there were hundreds of bags waiting to be picked up in store, but in my store there were hardly ANY people shopping.

I tried on my dressy sandals (in several sizes) and ended up returning them right then. They are beautiful in person, but just not the right shape or something. I usually wear 7; I ordered an 8 and 8.5 - both were too small and my toes hung over the edge. I walked over to the shoe dept to try a 9 (different color), and my foot looked fat on the dainty little shoe. Oh well, our summers are really too short to be wearing them anyway.... My motto lately is if I don't LOVE something when I first put it on, I'm not buying it. Next!
