Yah but duty is the taxes and you would have paid them here anyway. Just as long as they don't ship FedEx or ups who charge outrageous brokerage fees.

I shouldn't be ordering anything. I'm supposed to be SYB remember? However, there are two items I've had in my cart for a bit that are both on deep discount PLUS free shipping. Maybe I should ask Santa (a.k.a. hubby) to send me one of these for Christmas?

Last time I ordered, they pre-charged the duty/brokerage, etc. Came to > $30!

Rae, duties are not taxes, they are on top of the taxes. I agree with Angela - duties are the killer. They charge them on anything not manufactured in North America
I have to restrain myself from ordering more for my oncoming business trips to US...
Shannon, I hate to be an enabler but both those items are great.I almost bought the flats at NAS - they did not play well with my bunion bones and did not come in wide width for my size...but they are gorgeous and extremely comfortable.

Oh enable away sweet Sveta! I have actually started to develop bunions myself (uugggghhh) so would wonder if these shoes would work for me then?

Shannon, if your feet are not on the wide side like mine you should be fine. For me it was just a hint of pressure on one bunion bone, not painful at all but I was afraid it can get more pronounced with a lot of walking and they were expensive so I passed. But my feet are on the wide side ..wide width would be perfect.

Thank you Sveta - I actually have quite strange feet. I am wide in the toe box area but have ridiculously narrow heels. It's like I have the halves of two different feet glued together - lol!
