I was in Zellers last night with DS and came across the Alfred Sung Pure line version of the boyfriend jean. Must admit, they were pretty darned nice. The rise is what I would caller "lower" but now "low" (if that makes any sense), a bit of a darker wash, roomy in the hips and thighs with a decent taper to the ankle and rolled up, worked pretty well. They were $29.99. Not premium denim of course but for someone experimenting with the whole boyfriend look, a good bargain. I tried them on and quite liked them. But I have a pair of the Gap sexy boyfriend jeans on their way to me. If the Gap ones don't work, I might pick up the Alfred Sung ones instead. I have the feeling that the BF jeans trend for me will not be long lasting so a less expensive pair may be ok.
