It's something I've been thinking about for awhile...
I've shopped a lot more since I joined YLF, along with a lot of returning and also alterations. And I've purged a lot, also stuff I just had bought - I did make mistakes. I've also gained 15 lbs and lost some of it again. And all on a fairly small budget.
During all that time my style goals changed, not radically but considerably. I've found myself coveting a look and when I found one of the pieces at an affordable price and it looked good I bought it. Without having the money to implement the rest of it. So I made that item work with what I had but wasn't completely satisfied with the look. But when the time came when I could have afforded more shopping I wasn't any longer enamoured with it and invested my money in something different.
I feel like I just can't keep up with my so far ever changing style goals and that this results in a style that is wearable, practical and even looks good but is not as consistent and defined as I want it to be.
Any of you have the same problem? Any idea how to go about solving this? I think I might need to narrow it all down. Or do some more soul searching about the way I want to go, I'm not sure. Maybe I need to cull my Pinterest too...
