Can you help me with my body type?

This is my first post! I've lurked for a couple of years, actually, ever since freshman or sophomore year. Watching you ladies has really challenged me to up my style and strive for unique style other instead of only Hollister and UGGS. So thank you so much, YLF members and Angie!

Okay, down to business! My measurements are:
Bust 37.5
Waist 30
Hips 40

I'm pretty sure I'm an apple, but can you help me prove or disprove this? Thank you so much for your help! (sorry about cutting off my feet by the way!)

You have a really nice, proportionate figure Erica! I was going to say rectangle with hourglass or pear tendencies. I don't see apple, you are very trim in your mid-section at least by the photo. The reason I say hourglass/pear secondary is that you have a lovely curve to your hips.

You look rectange to me. Just like a model. I see a secondary hourglass as well. I don't see apple at all. I think a lot of women (me, too) are self-conscious about any squooshiness around the middle. But having that doesn't make you apple unless your middle looks bigger than shoulders and hips. Thats my understanding anyway.

Welcome, Erica!

I see rectangle as your primary body type. No pear and no hourglass tendencies. You might have slight IT tendencies too. Do you wear a larger size on top than on the bottom sometimes?
