I see Dolce Vita in some pointy styles.

I tried the CH Tompkins and it looked very plasticky to me. Not pointy, either (but I did not want pointy). The other CH brogues are nicer, but not true pointy, but more tapered than some other oxfords.

I really like the DV Ollie, but thought the cap toe would break up the leg line and not bookended as well. Maybe I am thinking too much. :). I have been admiring that one for some time but thought it wouldn't work.

Wow, so many great options here. I am in love with the Ollie loafer and flat. I don't think the toe would break up the leg line. I think you should get a pair so you can do a review.
