Can you help me decide?

I currently have three items sitting in my Etsy cart - two necklaces and one leather clutch. The two necklaces are vintage and the clutch is just pure fun (and a playmate for the Docs Danielle's!).

Do you think any/all of these are worth purchasing? Can they work with my style and wardrobe? Let me know what you like/don't like - I'd love to hear your opinions.

Thanks. And yes, I do know these are not in my spring/summer budget but I have some "found" money I can use.

I think the Pisces necklace is a keeper.
Do you think you would wear the two necklaces in diferent outfits.I don't have a great imagination when it comes to jewelry so for me the two would serve the same purpose and I would just pic one.

I'm with Celia on the clutch, although I'm not sure why. I think it looks a bit randomly pieced together? Not sure.

I love the first necklace and prefer it to the second one, the small details are really interesting. But then I'm not a fan of these owl necklaces in general.

Ha! I like the clutch, but I know you already have a clutch. Not sure how many clutches a girl needs. I kind of think the necklaces are both too big. Also, I don't see you wearing alot of jewelry except a broach here and there (maybe that's the whole point of adding jewelry to your collection) but it seems like these aren't really your style. How about something simpler? It seems that you have been going more streamlined in your style these days. I would really want to try jewelry on, it would be hard to choose something site unseen. You have to make sure the scale is right for you. It took me close to 6 months to find a gold locket. I must have tried hundreds of new and vintage lockets until I found just the right size and shape.

I like both necklaces. I see what Celia is saying about having 2 long pendants but they are different enough in vibe to be useful in the outfits. The only thing suggest - if you have notdone it yet - to make a template out of paper based on the provided sizes and try them on. Being petite and not seeing them IRL it may be useful to consider the size on your body.
As for the clutch i see when it may be fun but i am not sure about this particular one. However I am such a bag ignorant that my opinion can be discarded...:-)
ETA: after reading Rita's comment i just had to come back and add: statement necklace is completely in line with a streamlined style as long as the rest of the outfit is uncluttered and the necklace is a star. I have a pretty big owl necklace and love it for adding some spunk and play to a completely simple outfit - just make sure it is the right scale for you.

I think the owl necklace is kind of overpriced. Check out ebay, you can find a comparable one for a fraction of the price.

I LOVE that pices necklace! So cool.

I'm not a huge fan of the clutch, either... kind of looks like a makeup bag to me. But then what do I know about clutches? I don't use them since I'd lose them.

Yes, I love the Pisces necklace! I'm neutral on the clutch--don't love it, but don't dislike it either. I agree with Bella on the owl. I've seen things very similar here for under $20. I know you live in Canada though, so shipping items from American stores can be expensive and just not worth it. It might be worth taking a look around to see if you can get one for a better price.

Right, have to come back again: my owl came through Etsy too and was under $20 - I don't remember about the shipment cost but it was not big. It was vintage too!

Rita - I read your comment about going a bit more streamlined. I hadn't consciously thought about it so went back and looked at my outfits and you are definitely on to something. I may have to ponder this a while so I don't make a purchasing mistake.

Sveta - I also agree that a statement necklace could work if the rest of my outfit is simple (LBD, Docs and a big ol' necklace for example). More food for thought...

Shannon, if the measurements given are in centimeters, that bag will be very small.

Went back and looked at all of these again...not sure what to chalk it up to....menopausal foggy thinking (an actual clinical condition BTW), not enough coffee, really stressful day at work...but I'm not going for any of these items. They don't actually feel like "me".

So forget I asked. Go back to your regular day. Giggle at my silliness (I don't mind).
