This might just be one of those things that arise as someone is losing weight, but it seems that all of my tops - the shoulders are too big, the sleeves are too long and so on. I can't really buy shirts right now for this reason. Long sleeved sweaters and cardigans are also problematic, as are coats.
I'm 5' 6" tall - so, not obviously petite.
Can you be petite on top and not on the bottom, and is there a handy way to tell? My 'eye' for fit isn't very good, so am not sure about just going in and trying on petite jackets/tops. Plus, I'm worried that the tops would then be too short, even if they fit nicely along the shoulder line and in the sleeves. I remember trying on a 3/4 sleeve length sweater (or maybe it was supposed to be bracelet length, I can't recall) in a store one time, and it fit to my wrists - the clerk was surprised. My arms don't appear to be any shorter than anyone else's though. (lol!).
Also - for those of you who have been down this road before (losing weight) - did you have this issue too? All your sleeves suddenly became too long?
Thanks
