I'm putting an outfit together for a rare date night with my husband. I'm planning on wearing a ME+EM blue silk, cotton button down, some relaxed slightly cropped bootcut jeans and a pair of black suede Stan Smith Adidas trainers (there's a massive hill between the hotel and theatre so this is the sensible choice) . Although the outfit isn't monochrome the styling will be quite minimal.
Would you mind sharing your trainer/ sneaker handbag compliments or how you make a decision on what works? I'm thinking of using a slightly dressier handbag but those old fashion rules are niggling and making me think a more casual handbag may be more appropriate.
