I've been thinking about adding a non-black crossbody to my wardrobe ever since I missed the Clare V python bag at the Nordstrom sale last autumn. I've also always loved Stella McCartney's Star bags, which she seems to have stopped making (in favor of logos bag that I don't prefer to wear), so now might be the time to take the leap.

I like neutrals and tend to wear dark ones, but white and cream have a place in my wardrobe year-round.

My question: This bag is styled below for summer, but am I wrong to think it would look good as a winter white as well, over a camel or black wool coat, for example?

I am all about versatility, especially with a purchase like this that is not absolutely necessary and quite spendy.
