So the designers behind Juicy Couture have a new line out:

But I thought they already did this with Skaist-Taylor which I saw on Net-a-porter a couple years back. Although I got my mohawk hat from them, I got it on sale because I thought that line was overpriced for what it was.
But Pam & Gela is a bit cheaper, but I don't think any of it is anything special or different. It's kinda like Haute Hippie meets low budget Alexander Wang. How many pairs of fancy sweatpants does the world need?

I still like some of the Juicy Couture items (I don;t own anything of theirs, other than fragrance). This is OK. Nothing too revolutionary. I like them after reading that piece in Zoe report, but it doesn't really seem that they have grown that much over past 20 years in terms of more sophisticated or complex look.

Thanks Anna, that one works. When I think of Juicy Couture, I think velour track suits and sweatpants with the logo across the bum! And I think of Brittany and JLo:). For that sad reason I haven't paid much attention to them. The new range doesn't excite me I'm afraid. There is nothing wrong with it but I feel most of the items /styles would be available elsewhere and at a lower price point. I'm not sure if this is a fair comparison but the range made me think of Urban Outfitters??

I can't say JC ever spoke to me much, especially for the price point, and then the logo showed up on everybody's backsides... Ugh, yeah.

So I liked some of what I saw in the photos that accompanied the interview, but the singer22 offerings don't look terribly exciting. A lot of really short shorts. I guess I'm not the target audience.

I wonder who their market is? I looked at their current offerings and didn't pause over anything. It actually looks like beachwear to me--short shorts, muscle tees, sweatpants. Those are the things that YLF helps me avoid actually. I could see this line appealing to my older daughter but it's not in her budget!

Well people definitely seem to buy those fancy sweatpants, so I would guess it's sticking around a good while longer. I get a sporty-beachy vibe, too. I'd be curious to see how they evolve when the sporty trends die down if the line's still around at that time. I quite like this shirt and this jacket, both of which seem just a touch off the rest of that line (and I like a good beachy thing!) but not at the price point for what they are. I think it would all be more successful looking if the lines were more committal.

Not feeling it so much. Dumb slogans on tees have to actually be clever even on juniors in my book. Some of the basics seem serviceable and I like the colors. I'd buy them if they were at extreme discount maybe.
