Can someone explain the acronyms to us newbies?

Hi Ladies!

I am new to the forum, and I've discovered that you'all use several acronyms (abbreviations) that I don't understand. Reminds me of my former life in high tech!

I think I know what NAS refers to...Nordstrom sale?

What's WIW?

I may look sort of dumb for asking, but if I don't know, I figure some other new members may have the same question.

Maybe one of the veterans can make a list of acronyms and post it somewhere for the new kids on the block.

HEWI=highly elusive wardrobe item (that one took awhile for me to figure out)

If you go to the search box at the top of the page and type in Abbreviations, you'll pull up quite a few threads listing abbreviations.

I had been wondering about ALGO and ETA. To me, a pilot's daughter, ETA is estimated time of arrival, but I figured it meant an update this context. Edited To Add had not occurrd to me!
