I feel a bit stupid asking this, but I've read various descriptions of what it means to be short or long waisted, and both apply to me, which is obviously not possible .
I'm 5' 3"
I can't wear most 1 piece swimsuits because they don't stretch over my torso.
My son once pointed out that my pant legs are so short they fit entirely on the ironing board, with no overhang. So I have short legs.
I try to wear cropped tops, because even many petite tops are so long on me, they fit like a tunic.
Petite pants fit best, because I find there is too much room in the rise on most.
Am I short waisted or long? Or am I misunderstanding this entirely?
