I was using Angie's Valentine's ensemble post to play around in my closet and I decided to layer my red leather moto jacket over a pink tee. I was all set to default to black flats (since my hair is black) when I got the idea to try my red patent leather flats. The shades of red are practically identical except that the shoes are shiny patent leather.

Is wearing patent leather and normal leather together some kind of fashion faux pas that I'm unaware of?
