Can I justify two pairs of brocade jeans?

So I bought these at NAS

But before I even saw those, I fell in love with these

Are two pairs too much, or maybe I should return the C/E's and get the J Brands?

They seem different enough that you'd get wear out of both. However, if you really can't justify two pairs, I think the J brands are much cooler.

Hmm. Here's a related question: is the patterned denim idea a trend (i.e., an idea with some staying power) or is it a fad (over rather quickly)?

If you're betting on the former, go for it. If the latter, I would limit it to the one you love the most.

But here's a vote for the J Brands...

J Brand usually fits me well. I'd have to order these as Nordies seemed to have only bought the burgundy version. z

They are different from each other, but both of the same trend.

My VOR says to pick 1 for now and see how much you wear them.

I actually lean toward the CE (but I'm nowhere near as fashion forward as you!) and it has some favorable reviews.

Even if you wanted to keep both, my vote would be for the j. brands only. I feel like the C/E version is some sort of hybrid that's neither here nor there - if you're going to wear this trend it should be a statement, and I know you don't shy away from that!

I love the JBrands! I don't know if you should keep both bit if it's only one, the J Brands are such a cool statement.

The jbrands seems like a more formal pair and the CEs are more casual. I don't think 2 is too much if they are both what you like and different enough- it's like having 2 different colors of skinny jeans.

I love #2 and like #1. I don't think two pairs is overkill if you'll get your cost-per-wear in a range that's acceptable to you.

I like the J Brand one better. I think they really are a statement piece. The other ones seem a little too faded and tired looking or something.
