Can blondes wear Chartruese?

I am loving all the color this year after several years of neutrals. I can wear bright yellow, hot pink, royal blue, but don't know about chartruese.

Any ideas??? It looks (from an on-line ad) like it may have green undertones. I can't post my picture yet, but I am not fair-fair skinned, but fair (I'm Danish), but I do tan in the summer. My hair is between light blonde to golden blonde with deep blue eyes.

If anyone can tell me what "season" I am, I would love it. I sure can't figure it out, but more important to find out about the chartruese.

I used to have blonde hair (it darkened with age) and wear chartreuse all the time. I would suspect that if you can wear yellow, chartreuse would also look good on you. The easiest way to find out is to try something on and see what you think.

I bet you can find a shade that works well, since it sounds like brights work well on you. Some items labeled chartreuse tend more toward citron, while some lean more toward a split pea color. I can wear hot pink and royal blue, too, and I prefer a more yellowy chartreuse. Perhaps start the trials there?

I am blond, ( went a bit darker last haircut ) my skin has a pinky tone and I can't wear it or yellow

I think you have to take your skin colour into account as well

I think there is only one way to know...that is to try it and see!

You can post pics to a third party photo host (i.e. photobucket, flickr) and use that link in your posts here while you are waiting to upload pics on YLF (if you become impatient).

I have found it so helpful to post pics and get feedback.

I'm blonde and have been drawn to this color, too, as well as citron and other shades of yellow or green-yellow combinations. I think Teri's example is perfect and I agree with Rae that trying a few out may be your best bet! Check out some of Angie's archive photos as she has a couple of tops posted there that may help.
