Can anyone suggest a less expensive sandal than this?

So, I tried these Dolce Vita gladiators on in a store today.

I really liked the fit, the interesting straps, the low wedge, and the nude color - it's more taupe-y than camel, which I prefer. BUT, I do not like the price -- $150 for a sandal is too much, as I just don't get enough wear out of them in our climate.

Can anyone suggest an alternative to this sandal, something that would be less expensive?

They are showing on sale now for $105 (I think). They do look soft and cheap ones won't be soft!

I am sure there must be an alternative - you can't throw a rock without hitting a gladiator sandal these days!

The Mia line has several that are somewhat similar (sorry, wont let me link) the Botticelli is only $35-$69 and is comfy! The suede ones are quite soft....available at http://www.endless.com and other sites

I hadn't realized that Dolce Vita has both "Dolce Vita" and "DV by Dolce Vita." It seems the DV line is more my price range ...

And I might look at Boutique 9's offerings, after seeing Angie's post today.

It's not for everyone, but it's items that have been returned to Amazon, they check them out, make sure they are still in good condition, then resell them at discounts. Just google Amazon Warehouse Deals and it'll take you to the site for them. I have an Amazon Prime Membership, so the shipping is free, which also helps! I saw some Frye boots discounted almost 50%!

Amazon Warehouse is great, but it's really just luck of the draw whether or not it's in your size. Like Jenava I have Prime membership, though, so it's a really good deal when it works out. The shoes I got there once didn't even appear to be used or damaged in any way that I could tell.

Oh wow, great tip. I just skimmed through Amazon warehouse and found a pair of Frye Carsons in cream. But even on sale they are still $265
