Can anyone help me to select the right lehenga choli?

My cousin sisters marriage is on next month
and I have got the duty to select the dress for
the lady members.Now I have stuck to one
place.The dress selection for my mom for
wedding reception party and sangeet.Mom has
a tall slim and fair figure with nice skin and
hair.She is 48 years old but has a figure like
35 year old lady.I have decided to dress her
up in nice set of lehenga choli.Here's my

Now can anyone help me by guiding that which
one/ones will be suitable for her?

I see you posted a similar question previously, and it seems that most forum members have a different idea about what constitutes an age-appropriate garment for a women of this age than you do. I'm not sure if there is a cultural norm we're ignorant of, but I personally have no knowledge past what you've stated in your post, and what a cursory Google search turned up.

With the above in mind, I looked at the images in your link, and I notice all of them feature a cropped top. When I did a Google search, I noticed there are also a lot of options with a full top available; I would go that route. However, if you have your heart set on this type of midriff revealing top, I'd suggest choosing an ensemble that meets the following criteria:

a scarf that is long enough and not stiffly beaded, so it can be worn wrapped around the body if she would like more coverage
a top with 2 wide straps or with sleeves, rather than an asymmetrical one-shoulder top, so she can wear a properly supportive bra underneath
a top that extends down the rib cage and resembles an actual cropped bodice, rather than a very skimpy top that resembles a bra

Of the images you linked, I would choose #2, which has long sleeves, and extends the farthest down the stomach.

Is there a reason she doesn't want to wear a sari or a salwar kameez? Is there a dance of some kind? None of the married ladies in my family wear lehenga choli for parties or events, but I know things differ from family to family.

@alaskagirl:In our family in most of the ladies below 50years age wear lehenga in marriage reception or in sangeet for years.I don't know what's the actual reason behind it but from my childhood I have seen it ladies wearing lehenga in marriages in our family.None of them looked odd in it. As mom has a good figure which can carry lehenga well so opted for it.Nothing else.Today went for shopping saw some new styles also like anarkali lehenga which is in fashion as per the shop owner /designers opinion and it has maximum coverage with lots of different designes.
