Hubby's company Christmas party is coming up soon. I *think* women wear the full gamut: business suits to cocktail dresses. I prefer to be more cocktail dress type, but I've tried a bunch of dresses and nothing really fits my post-baby body right. So I was thinking about relying on my old standard, this sweater dress, which some of you have probably seen before.
Can it be dressed up to be more appropriate for the event, or will it look weird to mix this dress with, say, strappy sandals with crystal decorations? Or should I just stick with it as a "casual" dress and wear basic pointy toe pumps? Or should I nix it altogether and keep trying to find a real cocktail dress?
