Confession: after seeing Rae's boot analysis post, I have to admit I am still agonizing over having returned the Frye Julias, although they really were too tall for me. I have not seen anything to compare in lace-up boots.
Would it be evil to have a cobbler trim them down an inch or so in height (shaft not heel)? And is that even possible with lace-up boots? Would they look weird?
