Oh my goodness, I saw this bag and I’m thinking it is lovely but it is spendy and I’m not sure about the colours. I wondered what you thought. I like a top handle and the brand makes bags that definitely go the distance.

The black would be good but probably a little severe? May be? The other colours are good too but black seems the most usable. I have black brogues for the commute so they would work well together.

In black it would be for work mainly; at the weekend I tend to use a small bag but may be if I got it in green or orange I might wear at the weekend.

I’d be so grateful to know what you think?

Well, I'm in love with it.

I personally have been moving away from black bags. However, in this case, I agree black may be a good option for you. My reasoning is that I like to coordinate colors/accessories. So if you wear black brogues for your commute, I can see the black bag working wonderfully with the black shoes.

I find the bag esp striking in green, although it has to be said I have no use for a minty green mag. That’s totally not my style. But maybe it’s yours?

I love it in green. However if you need a black bag then..... you need a black bag!

Great shape and functionality! The black is classic and I don’t think you can go wrong there. The Miami Sunset and Mint are beautiful, eye catching and would add zest to every outfit. Which color makes you smile the most?

That is a beautiful bag! I love the green for you- is there any chance you’d be able to use that color for work in spring and summer? I noticed it also comes in a French gray and inky blue (or at least on the US version of the website.) Would either of those work for you? That said, if you’re worried you wouldn’t get enough use out of those colors, then stick with black.

Orange gets my vote and will add warmth and zest to everything you put it with. I would wear this with everything and definitely to work.

It sounds like you know that the black makes the most sense for your needs. There is nothing severe about a black handbag! You can always find a less spendy colored handbag for times you want a color pop, but black is classic and can pair with any outfit.

Just looked through your wardrobe, so have changed my mind. The black is clearly useful, from the perspective of having a stream-lined, mostly neutrals closet. But, it appears that you have a number of black and navy bags. It that correct? If you’re looking for something different, I think the orange would be great with many of your jackets and coats. More questions- do you need to replace any of your darker bags? How much use do you get from the red and magenta/purple ones?

Beautiful bag. Do you already have a black bag and if you do how often you use it? Both orange and green are nice, but will probably be more difficult to create complements if you are into matching.

Ooh - this is nice. For that kind of an investment, I'd buy black. The orange is my next choice.

Which season will you wear the most? Do you want to make a pop of color or blend in? It all depends on what you have and like to evolve to. Think both black and orange(because of your hair) can work in both seasons. Love a doc's bag!

That is gorgeous! My instinct is black, since it's an investment and black is always classic and chic (esp. on a well-made piece). But given your wardrobe seems to be grounded in a lot of neutrals, I do think the orange could add a nice statement to many outfits, especially if you have a good neutral bag already.

The green is beautiful, but I feel like it might date more easily; whereas the black won't and saturated hues are more classic to my eye.

I Like top handle handbags too. These look beautiful and structured!
I tend to add color to my wardrobe through handbags and footwear...I would go with orange then green.

Orange would add a pop of colour to many outfits and would complement your hair.It also complements green which is a colour I ve seen you wear and know that you like.Black is classsic but maybe a little safe?Go with your gut,what would you get the most wear and most pleasure out of.

Oh, I love that shape in a bag and hope it trends again. I have an irrational love for the green and the orange (weird that I don’t really wear orange clothing but I own TWO orange bags!).

For me it is a bit small for a work bag- unless I also took a tote. But I am a messy slightly disorganised person:)

Well Rachylou, the green is gorgeous, and I am not sure it is my style sufficiently for a spendy purchase.

Thank you Jussie, it is the shape that I like very much. Strangely, today, they launched a slightly smaller version of it. But it is this classic slightly elongated shape that I'm attracted too.

Mainelady, Miami Sunset is such a cool name for a colour! And it is the colour that makes me smile a lot. I like coral pinks / reds so I think it could work well.

Kathie, both those colours would work, but I do have other more formal black bags, although not a navy.

Bijou, I thought it would! Ahh, good, glad to know you would wear this to work. That's helpful to know, thank you for thinking it through.

Bennett, I think you are right, but it is a funny thing, I have a Boden red, Boden blush pink, Furla pink bags, which I largely use. I do have black bags, but I rarely reach for them.

Smittie, I am really in two minds, just reading yours and Bennetts comments are making me think again about the black.

Thank you Kathie for checking in on my wardrobe. I just don't seem to use the darker coloured bags. I have used for weeks now, the Furla pink, the Boden blush pink and the Boden red. My tan Furla is nearly on its last legs as it carried a lot of papers whilst I was studying. So colour I think is in order, but can I take the Miami Sunset.

I always used black bags, but the last few years I bought colored ones. And I like that a lot, and think about other accessories to go with them. So much more exciting. But sometimes you need a black bag.
I like green and orange for you.
