DH and I have a whirlwind (10 days) trip to England scheduled for mid May. There are 2 days of wedding celebrations in a small village 16 miles west of Cambridge - so that city will be our base of operations for the wedding weekend. Of course we want to explore the city, so will extend our stay accordingly.

For those familiar with Cambridge and environs - do you have any recommendations for exploring Cambridge or East Anglia? Either endorsing what the guidebooks say, or cool, off the beaten track places…
