Calypso crochet dress

I know a few people were talking about/coveting the Target Calypso crochet dress:

The good news: it was on sale for $33 this weekend and my store had one in my size

The bad news: it is totally see through, has no shape or structure. It is soft knit crochet that gets all stretched out as soon as you pull it on.

Don't worry though, I still managed to spend that amount on a super cute and well fitting outfit! Target is dangerous for SYC!

Cute dress, I never seen them in my store (and I was there in the AM first day of the collection), disappointing about being stretchy and shapeless. I used to crochet long time ago, shame I stopped, as I see a lot of crochet style clothes recently. I want a loose oversized crochet sweater to wear over a summer dress!
So, what did you buy?

The dress was awful! Not even worth $33 for a couple of wears!

I got the Angie recommended clams and a red polka dot woven blouse. It is a perfect GOTG, summer bbq or farm festival outfit. I feel like Marianne from Gilligans Island in it. I can't wait to wear it!

Beautiful blouse! Much better choice than the Calypso dress!
I didn't really find the Calypso pieces that special, yes, the tops were cheap for silk, but very 'beach resort' looking, wearing them anywhere out of vacation resorts seem so out of place to me... Same for the dresses, very beachy feel, not really good for me as a MOTG in the suburbs LOL. I really liked the home decor though (the silver poufs) but no space for them in my house either! It's more cottage than Moroccan style :(.
